Nesting & Setup Sessions

Nesting & Setup Sessions are my way of turning registry overwhelm and Pinterest-board paralysis into an actual plan. During this personalized session, I sit down with you (and your partner, if you'd like) to map out your real home, your real space, and what will actually make the first weeks easier — not what a "must-have" list on the internet says you need.

Together, we talk through your registry item by item: what's worth the investment, what you can borrow or skip, and where well-meaning gifts might create more clutter than help. I'll draw on what I've seen work — and not work — across two decades of postpartum homes, so you're buying for your actual life, not a hypothetical one.

We'll walk room by room to consider setup and flow: Where will nighttime feeds happen, and what needs to be within arm's reach there? How should the nursery or sleep space be organized for safety and ease at 3am? What small changes to your kitchen, bathroom, or living space will make one-handed, sleep-deprived days simpler? We'll also talk through practical systems — meal prep and freezer stock, laundry flow, a "go bag" for hospital or pediatrician visits — so your home is working for you instead of adding to the mental load.

After our session, you'll receive a written recap with your personalized registry notes and a room-by-room setup guide — not a generic checklist, but a practical plan based on your space, your budget, and how you actually live. My goal is for you to walk into the fourth trimester with your home already on your side.
